A resident of the offshore Taiwanese island of Kinmen has removed the official flags of the People’s Republic of China from a local street in fear of being falsely accused of violating Taiwan’s new Anti-Infiltration Act.

The ruling DPP says the law, which was passed on Tuesday, will curb foreign attempts to intervene in Taiwan’s politics and elections. However, opposition lawmakers say the law is too vague and that there is a concern that people could break the law without knowing it.    [FULL  STORY]
